Booking.com API Integration Notes

Step 0 - Complete Onboarding Checklist

Before we can setup and connect to communicate with Booking.com API you need to first complete the checklist.

Once done please send the information to support@goodjourney.io

Step 1 - Booking & Driver Event API

Now that you have everything setup contact your account manager and we will configure and sync all the bookings into the platform.

This will allow you to seamlessly manage bookings, receive real-time updates and assign drivers/vehicles all on one platform.

Critical Requirements

Drivers should stop using the Booking.com driver web app

Fleet operators should NOT assign drivers via the Booking.com portal
✅ Drivers must use Good Journey Driver App or your white-label driver app

All driver assignment and status updates must happen inside Good Journey Command Center

This avoids double-assignment, status mismatches, and sync errors.

Step 2 - Pricing API

Once you have everything running smoothly. The next phase is to be able to setup and configure rates on the Good Journey platform.

This will provide you a more flexible way to adjust rates between different corporate or booking agents you work with. In the case of Booking.com will query Good Journey directly for your rates.

What changes with the pricing API?

  • Rates no longer managed in Booking.com portal

  • Rates managed fully in Good Journey Rate Schema

  • You can add new cities, zones, airports, and car-types independently

  • Pricing becomes centralized, flexible, and easier to scale globally

Steps

  1. Setup all your rates inside Good Journey (Follow this guide)

  2. Create a corporate account for Booking.com

  3. Link the rate or pricing template to the corporate profile's policy.

  4. Inform your Good Journey Account Manager so we can double check your configuration.

  5. Message your Booking.com Account Manager to enable Pricing API.

  6. Rates go live after Booking.com validation

  7. You will no longer need to manage your rates on booking.com portal.
