Rate Naming Conventions
Use clear, consistent names for each rate so they can be easily assigned to vehicle types, templates, customer groups, or suppliers.
Best-practice format:
For customer-facing or corporate/public rates:
<Car-Type> - Buyer - <Corporate/Public> - <Currency>
For supplier or driver payout rates:
<Car-Type> - Provider - <Supplier Name> - <Currency>
Examples:
Customer / Corporate Rates
Business - Buyer - Microsoft - USD
Business Van - Buyer - Public - EUR
Economy - Buyer - Booking.com - GBP
Economy – Buyer - HolidayTaxis – GBP
Supplier / Driver Payout Rates
Business - Provider - ABC Chauffeurs - USD
Luxury SUV - Provider - Elite Drivers - SGD
Sedan - Provider John Doe Driver - AUD
This naming structure keeps your rate list clean, organized, and easy to identify across vehicle types, customer groups, and supplier payouts.
